Our story

A family legacy,
built to endure

Nirbo production facility at dusk

The beginning

From Sweden to Bosnia — carrying the craft forward

After years of living and working in Sweden, founders Nisvet and Besima Rahmanovic returned to their native Bosnia and Herzegovina to carry forward a woodworking tradition three generations in the making. Today, the company continues under Azra Rahmanovic and Emil Magnusson — honouring that legacy while embracing new methods.

What began as a family workshop has grown into a modern production facility, equipped with CNC machines ranging from simple drilling machines to advanced 5-axis systems — capable of bringing any wooden design to life.

We hold FSC and EUDR certification across our full supply chain — because responsible sourcing is not a feature, it is a baseline.

2024 expansion

A new 5,500 m² home for our craft

In 2024 we expanded into a new 5,500 m² facility in Donji Vakuf, giving us the capacity to take on larger and more complex projects without compromising on craft. Solar panels are planned for 2025 as we work toward full energy independence.
